    Information / Anbar..
On Thursday, Director of the Municipality of Jubbah in Anbar Governorate, Qatari Al-Obaidi, confirmed the recovery of the labor market due to the increase in trade exchange with Syria through the Al-Qaim port.

Al-Obaidi said in a statement to Al-Ma’louma Agency, “The escalation in the pace of trade exchange operations at the Al-Qaim border crossing with Syria has contributed significantly to the employment of hundreds of unemployed people in the cities of Anbar, especially the western ones, bringing daily shipping equipment to more than 400 trucks.”
He added, "The high pace of trade exchange with Syria is due to the stability of the security situation in the areas west of Anbar, all the way to Baghdad Governorate and from there to the other governorates, without recording any security breach."
He pointed out that "Al-Qaim border crossing with Syria witnessed an unprecedented commercial movement represented by the entry of various goods and the desire of merchants in both countries to transport their goods through the port."
Al-Obaidi continued, “The rumors and stories that talked about the imminent closure of the Al-Qaim border crossing with Syria are baseless, and that the movement of goods and passengers is proceeding according to the plan prepared by the central government.” End / 12A
