The head of the Nabni Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, discussed today, Saturday, with the head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, the formation of local governments in the governorate councils.[/size]
[size=45]A statement from Al-Amiri’s office stated that the two parties stressed “the importance of forming local governments on the basis of an efficient and honest team capable of achieving aspirations. They also stressed the importance of the work of the governorates being consistent with the work of the government and its service orientation.”[/size]
[size=45]Regarding the regional issue, they stressed the need to end the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza, and called on the international community to stop the massacres through pressure to stop the war and bring in aid. They also renewed the call to end double standards in dealing with human rights and freedom of expression, according to the statement.[/size]
