President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, discussed today, Wednesday, with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Iraq, Ok Lootsma, the development of the judicial system and major corruption cases in Iraq.
A statement of the Supreme Judicial Council, received by Mawazine News, stated that “President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received the resident representative of the United Nations Development Program in Iraq, Ok Lotsma, and his accompanying delegation.”
He added, "The two parties discussed joint cooperation between the judiciary and the United Nations Development Program in developing the judicial system and major corruption cases in Iraq."
