    [size=45]Member of Parliament, Amer Abdul Jabbar, warned on Sunday of the government’s inability to pay employees’ salaries if oil prices decline.[/size]
    [size=45]Abdul-Jabbar said, “The government will be unable to pay salaries if the price of oil drops to $57 per barrel.”[/size]
    [size=45]He stated, “Granting customs exemptions to Jordan destroys the Iraqi national industry,” considering that “it is better to provide humanitarian support to the destroyed Gaza instead of providing support to a continuing country like Jordan.”[/size]
    [size=45]Abdul-Jabbar stressed that “Iraq is in a situation that does not allow it to provide economic privileges to Jordan,” pointing out that “Baghdad did not obtain anything in exchange for the privileges granted to it.[/size]
