Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Electricity announced the operation of the eighth unit of the South Baghdad Gas Station 2, while indicating its connection to the national grid.
The Ministry stated in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, “The engineering and technical staff at the second South Baghdad Gas Power Station, affiliated with the Central Region Electricity Production Company, and under the supervision of the station director, were able to complete maintenance work for the eighth obstetric unit, operate it successfully, and connect it to the national system.”
She added, "These works come as part of periodic maintenance programmed according to a plan drawn up in preparation for the next summer season, to contribute to increasing the rate of supplying electricity to citizens."
