    For example, Iraq’s rank in the passport index for the year 2024 rose to 107th place after it was ranked 108th in 2023, as well as in 2022 it was ranked 110th and in 2021 it was ranked 115th.

    But despite the rise in Iraq’s rank in 2024 one rank One compared to 2023, but this increase is not due to the development of the Iraqi passport, but rather due to a decline in the value of the Syrian passport, but on the contrary, although Iraq advanced one place, the number of countries that it was not able to enter with or without a prior visa in 2023 is more.     From 2006 until now, it appears that the best rank for the Iraqi passport was in 2006, where it ranked 81, while the worst rank was recorded in 2021 and reached 115.

    With regard to the performance of the passport or the number of countries it can enter without a prior visa, and since 2015 So far, the best year for the Iraqi passport was 2023, with the number of countries reaching 43 countries, while the worst year was 2017, with only 27 countries.
