Baghdad: Al-Sabah:
Yesterday, Monday, the State Real Estate Department completed procedures for transferring ownership of (8) real estate for the purposes of establishing residential cities.
The department's statement stated, "The transfer of ownership of eight properties to the relevant municipalities has been completed for the purpose of establishing residential cities."
Director General of the Department, Nadia Rashid Ali, confirmed that “work is continuing to expedite the procedures for transferring real estate ownership to contribute to solving the housing crisis, based on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and Minister of Finance Taif Sami in this regard and based on Cabinet Resolution No. (23052) of 2023.” .
Rasheed stated that “the State Real Estate Department, in line with what was stated within the ministerial curriculum regarding resolving the housing crisis, continues to work towards removing obstacles and conflicts in other cities with the sectoral departments, and ownership of other new cities will soon be transferred once the procedures of the sectoral departments and the specialized committees formed for this are completed.” the purpose".
