Today, Thursday (March 7, 2024), the activities of the Dhi Qar Reconstruction Conference were launched under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The "Baghdad Today" correspondent said, "The presidency of Dhi Qar University embraced the proceedings of the governorate's reconstruction conference, which was sponsored by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in the presence of the Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Farhad Nimat Allah Hussein."
He explained that "the conference dealt with the most important projects implemented by the federal government and through the Governorate Reconstruction Fund, which is supervised by the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Al-Ghazi."
He added, "During the conference, the local government and other official sectors were invited to present the most prominent reconstruction projects and plans for the governorate, taking into account the opinions of specialists in economic and political affairs, and presenting future visions for the reconstruction of Dhi Qar."
It is noteworthy that the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers seeks to transform the governorate into a promising tourist and religious destination through the establishment of the new tourist city of Ur and the Nasiriyah International Airport.
