    An official Iraqi newspaper revealed on Thursday a new conference is being prepared for the reconstruction of Iraq under the auspices of the League of Arab States, with the participation of senior Iraqi officials.
    "The convening of a major conference and exhibition in the Arab League will be next month, for the reconstruction of Iraq, with the participation of senior Iraqi officials," said the head of the Federation of Arab Investors, Huda Yissi.
    "The exhibition will feature pavilions for small and medium-sized enterprises as the feedstock for major industries," she said.
    For his part, said the Iraqi ambassador in Cairo and the permanent representative in the Arab League, Habib al-Sadr, that "Egypt will enter strongly in the reconstruction of Iraq," noting that "the volume of trade exchange between Baghdad and Cairo reached last year to one billion and 300 million dollars."
    He added that "the next period will witness the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Iraqi Ministry of Health and its Egyptian counterpart to establish a hospital in Basra and another in Baghdad," stressing at the same time that "the opening of Arar port between Iraq and Saudi Arabia has contributed positively to the entry of Egyptian products to Iraq."
    The Iraqi ambassador pointed out that "the pipeline project, which runs from the city of Basra, the southernmost of Iraq, to ​​the port of Aqaba, the southernmost of Jordan, will contribute to supply Egypt of its oil needs."At the same time, he stressed that "the reconstruction conference in Kuwait provided opportunities to develop development action data, remove obstacles and attract international expertise while applying the theory of combating extremism in development."
