Twilight News / documented by Amnesty International, 40 refugee certificates they asserted that they had been sexually harassed at the border, transit to Europe.

She Tirana Hassan, responsible to deal with the crisis in the organization, that these women "risked everything to not in safety with their children," lived after the "horror of the war in Iraq and Syria." She added: "from the moment they begin their journey in which they once again vulnerable to violence and exploitation without the great support and protection."
She explained that some women who felt the organization asked them "alarming, especially in the areas and transit camps in Hungary, Croatia and Greece", while others stressed "they are forced to use the same bathrooms with men."
Hassan stressed "the necessity to do more efforts to learn about the refugee women and to propose specific mechanisms in order to protect their basic rights and safety," arguing that "it is a shame that you feel (the women who) threatened even in European territory."
He says one aid workers who are working in Greece that "one of the challenges that we face, that the international community and Western governments took a long time to wake up and face this crisis and realize that they can not escape it."
