    1:52:19 p.m. 2/4/2016 | (Voice of Iraq) - Start of the oil and gas exhibition in Basra with the participation of more than two dozen Arab and foreign countrieswas launched in the province of Basra Wednesday Exhibition and Conference Basra International Oil and Gas Pencchth gentlemen and with the participation of 105 companies from 23 Arab and foreign countries.The Chairman of the Committee on Oil and gas in the Basra Governorate Council jurist Ali Shaddad knight that the exhibition contributes to the revitalization of the economic reality in the province of Basra and develop exchanges and trade cooperation between the international and local companies process as well as its role in informing the participants on the security, economic and investment situation. He added that the local government in Basra province intends to develop economic reality through several ideas are still under study and the most important of the founding of Basra owned wholly or in part to the local government and undertake the implementation of projects in various sectors.He said that the exhibition is one of the appropriate opportunities to brief international companies on investment opportunities in the province, and its call to work in the city of Basra as the economic cities, the most important the most prominent in Iraq and is considered the main source of most of the natural resources in the country. It is said that exhibition and conference Basra international oil and gas lasts for four days and Taatkhalh economic activities in addition to lectures by experts, specialists in the field of oil and energy.
