MP describes employees’ salaries system as "Unjust"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Najiba Najib, of the Parliamentary Finance Committee described the system of the employees’ salaries as “Unjust.’
She stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There is no justice in the system of the employees’ salaries because it is not suitable to the current prices of the commodities and the medical treatments where it is necessary to reconsider it to achieve justice among the governmental employees.”
“The government must expedite sending the new system of salaries to the parliament to endorse it,” she added, noting that “A year ago, there was a committee formed by the Council of Ministers that aimed at increasing the job opportunities, but we did not received the draft from that committee and we call to send it to us.”
“If the government preserves increasing the salaries due to spending the funds in the investment sector, we will try to make use of the experiments of the other countries regarding this issue,” she concluded.
