Nusaiyf criticizes Nijaifi’s call to conduct early parliament elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP Aliya Nusaiyf of the Hurra Iraqiya Slate expressed her surprise over the parliament Speaker’s call to dissolve the parliament and conduct early parliament elections after he refused this proposal previously.
Nusaiyf said “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki had called to dissolve the parliament and conduct early elections where Nijaifi refused the idea altogether at that time, this makes us wonder about the reason behind this call whereas he rejected this idea earlier.”
“Nijaifi should rehabilitate the parliament’s performance to provide the requirements of the early elections most notably ratifying the relevant laws such as Parties Law, Parliament Elections law, and Census,” she added.
Speaker of the parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi has released an initiative to resolve the political crisis which lies in declaring the current government and replacing it by temporary government and dissolving the parliament.
