    10:10:07 a.m. 14/04/2016 |(Voice of Iraq) - Basra exited thelocal government of Basra , anumber of recommendations that will expand the imports of thegovernment as aresult of fiscal austerity and thelack ofallocations provided by thefederal government. The governor ofBasra Majed Nasraoui told a news conference after the meeting , which was held in the provincial council, and in the presence of anumber of members of theBoard , said that "the most prominent recommendations and the first steps the government will apply to maximize imports is therate that would be imposed at border crossing points to thegovernment ofBasra." for his part, head of theBasra Governorate Council morning Albzona said that therecommendations will begin through theenactment oflegislation by theCouncil and local revenue law. he added that among therecommendations is to look at how the local government ofBasra would be athird party in theoil licensing rounds. as Albzona stressed the need toimplement therecommendations of thegovernment departments ,managers, implementation that emerged from the government ofBasra. cycle the head of the legal committee in theBasra provincial council , Ahmed Abdel Hussein that all therecommendations are based on constitutional and legal grounds. he pointed out that the issue of the border crossings provision in thefederal budget law, which gives authority to local governments totake fifty percent of the federal budget revenues relative to thelocal governments. in addition , said chairman of theCommittee ofplanning and follow - up originated Mansouri the reasons for holding this meeting important result of the receipt of the process and oral messages come to theGovernment ofBasra , about not launching any money from thefederal budget allocations.noting that this meeting comes to maximize imports of theprovince according to thefederal budget from the point of the law and inaccordance with the application ofcertain paragraphs of thetwenty - one law that gives local governments thepowers of anumber of ministries on the other hand. thelocal government announced in Basra, in January 272 016 for theformation of an ad hoc committee of economic affairs of theprovince of Basra and the financial crisis faced by the local government called the "strategic development Committee" aimed at thedevelopment of an overall strategy to expand imports of the province.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
