    After a quarter of a century on the occupation of Kuwait by Iraq: Iraq expects to get out of the provisions of Chapter VII in 2015!!

    Signed by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said Thursday that his country graduated from the provisions of Chapter VII final after remaining full payment of compensation to Kuwait by the year 2015.



    Zebari said at a press conference in Baghdad, "we were able to cancel the majority of resolutions against Iraq and ended all sanctions and sentences that were imposed on our country, so it became our freedom of movement and act with our money and our dealings Iraq has returned to its natural state."



    "The one theme remains a topic of war reparations imposed was very, very high cost amounted to $ 52 billion."



    Zebari said "We are committed to pay, and we paid almost 41 billion, remains about $ 11 billion we have to pay," adding that the remaining amount paid in full by 2015.



    Iraq pays 5 percent of the total oil revenues to Kuwait under the compensation established by the United Nations for the damage to Kuwait because Saddam's occupation of their August / August 1990 to February 1991.

    Yeah but that's not what he said, he said we could pay this all at once and get out chapter VII immediately and from here it would be very odd to hurry to the finish line and simply stop. No, they will finish it all now either by paying it in full or a reinvestment agenda in the form of a bilateral agreement via the chapter VI precepts.... Or there would be no reason to alert everyone that Iraq is getting out soon... so there is some sort of arrangement already completed concerning the reparations. I'm thinking because Zebari mentioned the idea of 2015 that the reinvestment idea under the bilateral agreement will prove to be the predetermined solution... Bring on the Prime Minister!

    Hmmm indeed. Really hoping this is a red herring date and we are looking at the last days of Chapter VII right now.
