Parliament receives the government's amendments to the General Amnesty Law

Legal Committee announced in the House of Representatives, Sunday, for the receipt of government amendments to the General Amnesty Law, indicating that the amendments relate to the fourth and eighth articles of the law.
The committee member said Salim Shawki told / information /, "Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi sent a proposal modifying the fourth and eighth articles of the General Amnesty Law and received legal committee," noting that "amendments relate to the fourth and eighth articles of the law."
He said Shawqi, that "the proposed amendment submitted by the government will be treated as law, where it will be read first and second reading and then vote on it."
The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi earlier criticized the amendments added by the House of Representatives on the general amnesty recently passed law, describing it as a "criminal." Finished / 25
