confirmed to the parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations on Saturday, Turkey closed the door of dialogue and mediation with Iraq to keep its troops on the border and within the territory of the country.
Said committee member MP Abbas al - Bayati , in a press statement: " The Turkish side shut all doors generally any attempts to mediate dialogue and rapprochement with Iraq ," pointing out that "Iraq did not close any door generally mediations and convergence of views and dialogue adopted by the United States of American Islamic Republic of Iran to find solutions. "
He added that "Iraq is trying to get away from the escalation does not want and try towork on the continuation of the bilateral relations , " stressing that " the gate of this matter , however , the Turkish side through the withdrawal of its combat troops from Iraqi territory."
And that "Turkey did not show good faith by withdrawing its forces from Iraqi territory and to deal directly with the federal authority in Iraq."
Turkey sent military reinforcements in recent times to different areas on the borders with Iraq and Syria in an effort claiming "that in order to ensure its security from attacks and terrorist organizations and to prepare for any emergency."[/rtl]
