    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mansour al-Timimi, of the State of Law Coalition pointed out “The political disputes are behind the idea of endorsing the important law drafts in a single deal.”
    He stated to IraqiNews.com “Adopting the single deal means endorsing laws away from the interests of the citizens,” noting that “The political disputes are behind promoting this idea which is dangerous for the future of Iraq.”
    “It is necessary to present these laws individually to be discussed and approved,” he stressed.
    Earlier, the parliament reporter, Mohamed al-Khalidi, denied reaching agreement over endorsing the important laws in a single deal.
    In a press conference held at the parliament attended by IraqiNews.com reporter, he said “There is no agreement in this regard but the blocs agreed upon endorsing the laws that concern the citizens directly.”
    “The parliament rejects endorsing the laws through a single deal against the Iraqis’ interests,” he added.
    “The blocs agreed upon presenting the disputed laws for first and second reading then for a vote inside the parliament,” he assured.
    The reports about adopting the idea of the single deal to endorse the important laws were opposed by the religious authorities as well as some political sides.
