Shaddad said; For the program {Without Accusation}, broadcast by Al-Furat TV channel on Sunday evening, that: “The process of delaying investment in refineries is intended by the presence of the beneficiaries of the process of importing oil and gas, and mafias tampering with oil files, and there are those who tamper with the work of refineries. They have large important interests in the country and they have special control over the performance of the Ministry of Oil. A large part of them are Kurds.
He pointed out that "the policy of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani and the committee are supportive of stopping the process of expansion in the refineries," adding, "the loss of 300 thousand barrels of oil per day in the Al-Faw refinery, which has been suspended for 4 years, due to mafias benefiting from fuel imports."
And between Shaddad, "Influential mafias are obstructing the development of the oil industry in Iraq, and the Sudanese government has referred 5 refineries for implementation and is determined to develop the oil industry."
He noted that "the Iraqi negotiator always finds him weak or weakens himself because he does not negotiate with the mother international companies and neglects the social benefits in the formulation of oil contracts; but this matter was remedied in the contracts of the fifth rounds."
Shaddad concluded, "The fifth round stipulated reliance on local labor by 90%, and we seek to 'Iraqize jobs' in oil contracts and limit them to local labor."
