The State of Law coalition, led by Nouri al-Maliki, began communicating with political forces in Diyala Governorate to form its local government.
The head of the Sun in the Diyala Provincial Council, Turki Al-Otbi, told Al-Maalouma, “The coalition officially put forward Abdul-Rasul Jadaan as a candidate for the position of governor and began a round of meetings with the political blocs to proceed with the formation of the local government.”
He added, "The coalition's priorities are to create a national partnership government that represents all components, seek radical solutions to all files, adopt justice in distributing budgets to all districts and districts, and consider the security file a red line."
He pointed out that "assigning the position of governor of Diyala to the State of Law coalition is a decision of the coordination framework and there is no going back on it, stressing that there is acceptance by many forces for the candidate of the Maliki coalition." Ended 25 AH
