The House of Representatives voted, today, Saturday, to add an item to its agenda (electing the Speaker of the House of Representatives).
A statement by the Council's Media Department, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the House of Representatives, during its session held under the chairmanship of the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, voted to add a paragraph to its agenda that includes electing a Speaker of the Council."
He added, "The House of Representatives also voted on the proposed First Amendment Law of 1988."[/size]
