Water resources: high water level to 321 meters in Mosul Dam

announced that the Ministry of Water Resources, open the gates and the high water level to 321 meters in the Mosul Dam, pointing out that the levels of the Tigris River will rise over the next week.
The Resources Minister Hassan al-Janabi, in a statement, "Noor News" received a copy of it, today, said that "the ministry has opened water tear gate in the Mosul Dam, which did not open for nearly 12 years, after it was raised the water level to 321 meters above the surface level the sea after it was fixed at 319 meters. "
He added, "The operation comes to experience the safety of tear water gates and operation of the five channel tear water itself and examine the stability and safety of the dam and the effectiveness of treatments in the maintenance and operation of the continuous".
Janabi said, "The Mosul Dam is safe and works with high efficiency, and the Tigris levels will rise slightly over the next week."
Iraq had signed in (January 2016) contract with the Italian company Trevi for the maintenance of the Mosul Dam because you eat, as are Thacath on a daily basis.
