Deputy: open a British bank in Baghdad opportunity to attract international companies to invest in the country

A member of the Economic Commission National Alliance MP Hussein المرعبي, that the opening of a British bank in Baghdad is an important step to bring the global investment firms in Iraq. He said المرعبي (of the Agency news): The banking environment is considered the heart of the economic process and open so banks giant will contribute to the development of the environment and support the development and reconstruction in Iraq, noting that in the absence of banks sober, many global companies hesitate to come for the establishment of giant projects .
He added: Iraqi banks to اتلبي all the requirements that its major exceeding five million dollars, especially that Iraq is entering a building large projects and construction (100) thousand residential units, stressing the need for Iraq to companies global investment banks and large for the completion of these projects.
The Iraqi Central Bank announced its approval in principle to open a branch of the Bank of Standard Jartrd the British in Baghdad, expecting the bank to proceed with its work before the end of this year.
