    BAGHDAD - The Finance Committee of the parliamentary, on Wednesday, the high revenues in the draft budget for the year 2017 to 83 trillion dinars, while referring to the movement of transfers in the budget as requested by the International Monetary Fund.

    Committee member Sarhan Silvani said in a press statement that "the House of Representatives voted in its regular session on Monday to amend the draft budget law for the year 2017," pointing out that "revenues in the budget rose from 79 to 83 trillion dinars because of the increase in the price of a barrel of oil in the markets Global ".

    He added that "the price of a barrel of oil in the budget has become $ 44 after it was calculated in the amount of $ 41 with a financial deficit of 25 trillion dinars," pointing out that "the parliament carried out financial transfers in the public budget as requested by the International Monetary Fund."

    Silvani said that "an amendment to the budget law to transfer 30 billion dinars from the allocations of the House of Representatives to the popular crowd as salaries, in addition to the allocation of five billion to the Secretariat of Baghdad for the reconstruction of Karrada."

    Silvani pointed out that "fiscal transfers in the budget also included the allocation of funds to ministries of health, trade and water resources to buy medicines and distribution of financial benefits to farmers and clean rivers in the provinces."

    The House of Representatives voted, on Monday, to amend some articles of the draft budget law for the year 2017.
