Dhi Qar oil company is preparing to dig 52 wells in the field of Al Gharaf in an effort to raise its production capacity, while the management of the gas office in Nasiriyah plans to implement the first project to equip a number of residential complexes in the city of Nasiriyah gas pipeline.

He added that the company has received a new notice to raise the production operations from the field of Nasiriyah to 75 thousand barrels per day after the reduction earlier to 60 thousand barrels according to OPEC agreements, while the field continues Gharraf production operations daily card of 100 thousand barrels.
For his part, Director of the Gas Office of Nasiriyah Tamim Mahdi for "morning" that a local investor offers a project to install an integrated gas system for the processing of Al-Shamok residential complex and university complex in the district of Nasiriyah, indicating that the Office opened the Housing Department in the province and the University of Dhi Qar to obtain approval to equip their complexes With liquid gas by pipes.
He added that the investor will set up a complete system for the processing of gas to 1270 housing units of the role of the university and Alshomok housing complex in Nasiriyah with a counter inside these houses, a project aimed at the gradual disposal of gas cylinders, which will have a positive impact economically. He pointed out that there are efforts to turn the brick factories in the province into environmentally friendly laboratories after supplying them with liquid gas to reduce the risks of environmental pollution.
