Dollar rises ahead of Federal Reserve announcement
The US dollar rose against major currencies on Wednesday, looking to announce the Federal Reserve's record.
The Fed is announcing the minutes of its members meeting today, which addresses central bank members' views on the economy.
The record is issued three weeks after the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision.
By 8:40 am GMT, the greenback was up against the euro by 0.2% to $ 1.1753 and the yen rose 0.2% at 110.90 yen.
While the US currency settled against the British pound at $ 1.2867, while rising against the Swiss franc to 0.9735 franc, a rise of 0.1%.
