The Air Force Command announced on Friday the postponement of the delivery of three F-16 fighter jets from the US side as planned under the contract between the two countries.
The Air Force Command said in a statement received by Al-Mada that "due to bad weather on the F16 flight to Iraq, the arrival of the aircraft was postponed for 24 hours. "The aircraft will arrive as soon as the weather improves," the statement said.
The Iraqi Air Force Command announced earlier on Friday that three F-16 Iraqi aircraft will arrive on Friday afternoon, from the United States of America within the contract between the two countries to buy 36 of this model.
