The State Railways Company announced that it has achieved new record highs by moving passengers from the central station in Baghdad to Basra and vice versa through the southern regions where 15,346 passengers have been transported over the past two weeks.
In a statement to the ministry, the director general of the railway, Salam Jabr, said in a statement that "the Transport and Employment Department in the company coordinated with the Transport and Employment Division at Basra Station and other stations to train modern and air conditioned trains (DMU) Rising and falling. "
"During the four-day visit, the company was able to transport more than 15,000 visitors who went to the holy Karbala railway station from central Baghdad and Basra," he said.
