Railways announces the number of passengers during the first quarter of 2019

The State Railways Company announced Friday that it had transferred 100,000 passengers on its trains during the first quarter of this year.
The Director General of the company, Taleb al-Husseini, said in a statement that this upward number came through the keenness to create modern air-conditioned trains and receive daily passengers with high flow of DMU trains in coordination with the southern regions to ensure proper bookings for passengers from Basrah, Nasiriyah, Samawah and Diwaniyah And Hilla) in addition to Baghdad.
