    A delegation of the Union of Arab Banks, headed by Secretary General Wissam Fattouh, met with the delegation of the Union, which is based in Beirut, at the beginning of the visit with the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq Dr. Ali Mohsen Alalak in the presence of a number of senior officials of the Bank, including Deputy Governor and President of the Association of Iraqi private banks and the great musician And UN Ambassador Naseer Shamma and Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics - University of Baghdad.


    During the meeting, Fattouh thanked the hospitality industry and the accompanying delegation and praised the high level achieved by the Iraqi banking sector, stressing that it has become one of the important banking sectors in the region, because it has infrastructure infrastructure is not available to its counterparts in Arab countries.


    The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq thanked the Secretary General of the Union of Arab Banks for the shield of the bank and a panel containing samples of the Iraqi currency issued by the bank since the establishment of the Iraqi state.     For his part, praised the Secretary General of the Union of Arab banks and Samam Fattouh on the efforts made by the President of the Association of private banks to upgrade the Iraqi banking sector, describing these efforts creative and creative


    In an unprecedented move that reflects the interest of the Union in the development achieved by the private banking sector in Iraq and our recognition of the role played by the Association of Private Banks in this field.     Fattouh stressed the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation in this field and other fields, expressing the readiness of the Union to provide technical support for the development of Iraqi banking human capabilities


    For his part, Al-Hantal expressed his appreciation for the cooperation shown by the President of the Federation especially in the field of training the Iraqi banking authorities and overcoming the obstacles faced by the Arab banking sector in general.
