    [ltr]The Legal Committee in the House of Representatives, Wednesday, the adoption of the draft federal budget law for the year 2018 during the next week, despite the ongoing opposition by the Kurdistan Alliance deputies.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A member of the committee, Ibtisam al-Hilali told Mawazin News that "the House of Representatives read yesterday during its regular session, the second reading of the budget and was discussed by the deputies without the presence of the Kurdistan Alliance," adding that "the latter seeks to delay the adoption of the budget."[/ltr]
    [ltr]Hilali said that "the budget belongs to 14 Iraqi provinces in addition to the ministries, and not approved is a clear violation of legal," noting that "the deputies in the National Alliance and the Union of Forces are moving to approve the budget, which will be free of the paragraph to cut salaries of employees and delete this paragraph."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The MP from the Committee, "the share of Kurdistan from the budget will be 12% in line with the population approved by the Ministry of Planning and we will vote on this percentage."[/ltr]
    [ltr]Hilali pointed out that "the adoption of the bill will be during the next week, despite the continuing opposition by the Kurds."[/ltr]
