[ltr]Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed Moscow's readiness to consider all types of military aid to Damascus, including the S-300, in the wake of the tripartite aggression against it.[/ltr]
[ltr]In response to a question on whether Russia actually intends to supply Syria with S-300 missiles, ignoring Israeli concerns, Lavrov said in an interview with the British channel "BBC" on Monday: "Now we are ready to consider all options to help the Syrian army in Repel aggression ".[/ltr]
[ltr]Lavrov said that several years ago, at the request of "some", Russia had refused to supply the S-300 to Damascus. "Now, after the disgraceful aggression by the United States, France and Britain, we will discuss all options to ensure the security of the Syrian state."[/ltr]
[ltr]It is noteworthy that the Syrian army used in repelling the aggression of the trio recently upgraded Soviet air defense systems, and Russian modern ones, including the "S-125" and "S-200" and "Bok" and "Kfadat".[/ltr]
