The Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Al Jaber Al-Bushri liberated the city and port of Hodeidah from the hands of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
"Al Hudaydah is free, Yemen is breathing," Al Jaber said in a tweet on his Twitter account.
Armed forces and the resistance, backed by troops from the Saudi-led Arab coalition, launched an offensive on the Houthi-controlled port of Hodeidah.
The Yemeni government announced today the exhaustion of all peaceful and political means to remove the Houthi militia from the port of Hodeidah and stressed the move towards restoring the legitimacy to the entire national territory.
