A parliamentary source confirmed on Saturday that Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi will send the names of candidates for vacant ministries to the House of Representatives next week.
"The information available to us is that Abdulmahdi will send the names of the candidates for the defense, interior, education and justice ministries next week to vote on whether or not to give them confidence," the source told Mawazine News.
He added that "the candidates for education and justice are the same as those that were circulated in the media (Safana Hamdani and Judge Arkan Bibani), and internal and defense is not known so far."
On October 24, the House of Representatives gave confidence to the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, but so far no vote has been cast on the candidates of 4 ministries.
