The Ministry of Justice on Tuesday put forward a plan of action to secure the reception of experts and UN staff wishing to visit Iraq.
"The central committee of the ministry agreed to draw up a plan of action to secure the reception of special rapporteurs and experts working for the United Nations who wish to visit Iraq and set a schedule and proposals on whether or not to schedule the visits," a ministry statement said.
The statement added that "the meeting discussed the letter of the Special Rapporteur on the rights of internally displaced persons, which requests to visit Iraq in the second half of the current year 2019, where it was approved by members of the Committee
