    [size=18]Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, on Thursday, canceled all approvals for aviation in Iraqi airspace, while deciding to restrict the approvals to him or his authorized.


    "Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi chaired the meeting of the National Security Council," the Joint Operations Command said in a statement received by Alsumaria News.
     
    She added that "Abdul Mahdi canceled all approvals for aviation in Iraqi airspace (reconnaissance, armed reconnaissance, fighter aircraft, helicopters, drones of all kinds), to all Iraqi and non-Iraqi."






     
    "The Mahdi has decided to limit the approvals from the commander-in-chief exclusively or whoever is duly authorized by him," the command said.
     
    "Any air traffic that is otherwise hostile is dealt with by our air defenses immediately."
     
    The head of the parliamentary security and defense committee, Mohammad Reza Al-Haidar, revealed a very important new measure to be issued regarding air sovereignty and the movement of military aircraft in Iraqi airspace.

     
    Last Monday, an explosion occurred in the warehouses of equipment and ammunition inside the Falcon camp of the federal police south of Baghdad, killing one person and injuring 29 others, including a number of members of the security forces and the Popular Mobilization.
