    BAGHDAD - 
    The Basra Oil Company revealed the commitment of Exxon Mobil to return its experts to their work offices in the field of Qurna 1 within the coming days. 
    The Director General of the company Ihsan Abdul Jabbar, to "the return of experts" ExxonMobil "the main operator of the West Qurna 1 to their work offices in the field located north of Basra in accordance with the terms of the contract of oil licenses for 2010 after a period of the company's transfer of work management offices State of United Arab Emirates".

    He noted that "in accordance with the Ministry of Oil's memorandum of understanding with the State of Kuwait, which was recently approved by the Council of Ministers, the two parties agreed to assign an international consultant to study the status of joint oil reservoirs in specific fields with Kuwait and Kakrit".     Basra Oil Company revealed the commitment of the company "Exxon Mobil" US to return its experts to their work offices in the field of West Qurna / 1 in the province of Basra within the coming days, and confirmed the preparation of a program to modernize and expand the export system through the southern ports.

    He pointed out that experts from ExxonMobil, the main operator of West Qurna 1, will soon return to their work offices in the field located north of Basra in accordance with the terms of the oil licensing contract for 2010, after a period of the company transferring operations management to its offices in the United Arab Emirates.
    Abdul Jabbar stressed that negotiations with Exxon Mobil Company regarding the investment offer in the South Integrated Project have not stopped, pointing out that the Ministry of Oil has formed a permanent committee in its headquarters to study and review the data of the technical and commercial offer of this project since this project.     On the development and modernization of pipeline crude oil export system project, Abdul-Jabbar that the oil ministry said prepared and technically engineered a program to modernize and expand export by laying three pipelines from the stations and depots of crude oil and oil areas in Basra to export terminals in the ports of Basra and Khor al-Amaya in the northern Gulf to raise the rate of energy system Export capacity of 1.5 million barrels per day, in addition to the current export capacity of Dodd 3 million and 750 thousand barrels in order to achieve the reliability of proven at an average of 5 million and 500 thousand barrels through the southern ports after the completion of the project.
