The head of the bloc, Riad al-Tamimi, in a press statement: "Abdul-Mahdi did not deal properly with the demands of the demonstrators, which led to the deaths of more than 100 dead and large numbers of wounded."
He added: "Abdul-Mahdi must resign in case he is unable to implement the reforms promised by the Iraqi street, and in the forefront of a correct reshuffle."
