Labor law reveals a motion to amend the foreign labor law

Fadel al-Fatlawi, a member of the Parliamentary Labor and Social Affairs Committee, announced a motion within parliament to amend [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] foreign labor [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to reduce it to 10% and to allocate 90% to Iraqis in order to ease unemployment.
Al-Fatlawi said in a press statement that "there is a movement to amend [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] labor [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to be the proportion [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/76436/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D8%AC%D9%86%D8%A8%D9%8A%D8%A9]of foreign workers[/url] of experts 10% within companies, especially oil, to be the proportion of 90% for Iraqis, in order to ease the unemployment rate."
He added that "work is currently taking place within foreign companies in Iraq by allocating 50% to foreign workers, and therefore the number of these workers has reached one million workers, a very large number, and should be reduced through the amendment of the law."
He explained that "thousands of factories belonging to the government and the private sector are still closed, which must be supported and re-run, to support the local product and eliminate unemployment in the country."
