The MP pointed out that "there are many problems in the way of the enactment of a new election law, which is the reservation of political blocs, most notably Fatah, Sadikon and the rule of law, on the method of calculating electoral votes and dividing electoral districts according to districts and cities with a population of more than 100,000 people."
He said, "Some of the blocs are pushing for new amendments to the draft law as it finds incompatible with its future political representation in the upcoming elections."
The MP stressed that "those forces are exerting pressure on the presidency of parliament on this, since the introduction of the law on the vote will result in public positions rejecting him, contrary to the will of the street, which does not want to show those forces at the moment."
