[size=45]The former Minister of Communications, nominated for the position of Prime Minister in the next government, Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi, visited the Iraqi parliament on Thursday and held meetings with parliamentary blocs.
[size=45]A parliamentary source told Allawi that he held closed meetings with a number of political forces, the last of which was the Kurdish forces.[/size]
[size=45]The source said that the meeting included discussing the ministerial program of candidate Muhammad Allawi, restricting weapons to the state and the economic committees of political parties, resolving differences in Kirkuk governorate, Article 140, and the status of the Peshmerga forces.[/size]
