Legal expert, Ali Al-Tamimi, confirmed on Tuesday that the holding of early elections is not affected by the presence of the Federal Court or not, noting that the holding of these elections is by dissolving parliament and calling for them to be held.
Al-Tamimi said in a statement to "Information", that "Article 64 of the constitution dealt with the dissolution of Parliament, which is either at the request of one third of the members and the approval of the absolute majority of Parliament, or at the request of the Prime Minister and the approval of the President of the Republic."
He added that "after the dissolution of the parliament, he calls for general elections in the country within two months from the date of dissolution, and the cabinet prepares the conduct of daily business."
Al-Tamimi stressed that "the absence or presence of the Federal Court does not affect the holding of early elections." 25 n ended
