TRADE ANNOUNCES PAYMENT OF ABOUT 70% OF FARMERS' DUES

Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Commerce announced the payment of about 70% of farmers' dues, while it revealed the remaining amount of their dues.
The spokesman for the trade, Muhammad Hanoun, said in an interview with the "National News Center", "The trade distributed about 65 to 70% of the farmers' dues, marketers of the wheat crop."
He added, "The General Company for Grain Trade, one of the Ministry's formations, last week paid more than 231 billion Iraqi dinars, after which more than 100 billion Iraqi dinars were paid through the company’s account itself."
"These days, all procedures are being completed, to distribute 261 billion Iraqi dinars as a new meal, from the peasants and farmers dues."
He pointed out that "the remainder of the farmers' dues, representing 950 billion Iraqi dinars, according to injuries provided by the grain trade company."
Hanoun stressed, "The ministry is mobilizing to pay farmers' dues, according to a schedule prepared by the grain trade company."
