The Ministry of Agriculture announced, on Monday, that it will facilitate the granting of lands to the Ministry of Industry to establish factories in the agricultural sector, while expressing its support for the Ministry of Industry to bring about a major change in the field of manufacturing industries policy.
"The Ministry of Agriculture always calls on the Ministry of Industry to work on bringing about a major change in the policy of manufacturing industries and establishing factories," said the ministry's spokesman, Hamid Al-Nayef, according to the official agency, indicating that "as long as the Ministry of Industry promises us this through these factories that it hopes to be." "Investment, considering the amounts or the financial share of the Ministry of Industry does not satisfy the establishment of private transfer factories, but it depends on the investment policy, that is, the participation with the investors."
He added, "We will witness the process of inviting the Ministry of Agriculture to investors by granting them lands, establishing factories for the Ministry of Industry to participate in, and enacting Law 35 which allows farmers to invest, and thus we seek the hands of the Ministry of Industry and support them by facilitating the granting of lands and matters pertaining to the Ministry of Agriculture."
