Mr. Ammar al-Hakim stressed during the meeting, according to a statement from his office, the Euphrates News Agency received a copy of it, "the importance of developing bilateral relations between the two countries at all political, economic and cultural levels, and we said that Iraq is open to all from constant common interests and preserving Iraqi sovereignty."
And, he said, "Iraq is on the verge of early elections," noting that "it is a fateful election that can determine the fate of the political reality for the next decade," stressing "that they are held on time and create all appropriate conditions for honest competition between the blocs in front of the Iraqi voter."
