    {Economist: Al Furat News} The Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, issued a ministerial order appointing the former director of the Rafidain Bank, Hussein Ali Muheisen, to a new position.

    According to the ministerial order for Allawi, the Euphrates News Agency obtained a copy of it. It was decided, and according to what was stated in the letter of the Prime Minister’s office, it was decided: 
    1 - To release the hand of (Hussein Ali Muheisen), director general of Al-Rafidain Bank, the agency.
    2- Transferring Muhaisen to the position of General Manager of the Iraqi Company for Banking Services.
    On March 9, the Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, issued an order to withdraw the hand of the Director General of Al-Rafidain Bank, the agency {Hussein Ali Muheisen} and refer it to investigation, for signing a contract with an electronic payment company without completing the legal procedures 
    . The industrial sector is walking through the matters of the Rafidain Bank until the completion of the investigation.
    It is noteworthy that an informed source revealed the existence of attempts and deals from political parties to return the former director of Al-Rafidain Bank, accused of corruption, to his post.
    The source indicated to {Euphrates News} that "the former director of Rafidain is using his political influence with political parties to mediate with the Minister of Finance for his return to his position in the management of the Rafidain Bank."
    He explained, "Political pressure is being put on the Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, in order to return the article (Muheisen) to his post, and he is accused of corruption and signing investment contracts and facilities with companies and destinations without guarantees, which caused great damage to Al-Rafidain Bank, as well as files and suspicions of corruption."
