Today, Tuesday, the Iraqi government voted to establish a city project surrounding Baghdad Airport.
Council spokesman Hassan Nazim said, in a conference followed by the "National News Center", that "the Council of Ministers voted to establish the Rafael city project in the areas surrounding Baghdad Airport.
He added, "The Rafael city project is one of the projects that the government relies on to activate the private sector."
For her part, the head of the National Investment Commission, Suha Al-Najjar, said that "the construction of the city of Rafael will be on an area of 106 thousand acres," indicating that it is "the first project of its kind in Iraq."
