The Ministry of Trade announced the completion of the cadres of the Companies Registration Department, the establishment of (209) national companies and the registration of (25) with the granting of a lease to practice commercial agency business (1) and the registration of one commercial agency during the month of September.
The director general of the department, Mujahid Muhammad Shafi Al-Aifan, confirmed that the department had issued several decisions related to the amendment of corporate contracts, distributed between increasing the capital, merging company accounts, and liquidating company accounts.
He added that (217) registered companies were also documented, records were registered and (140) Iraqi companies and (11) foreign companies were referred to the judicial investigator for violating the controls and instructions.
Pointing out that the department has studied the final accounts of the national companies numbering (2440) national companies, in addition to merging the accounts of (28) companies, increasing the capital of (23) companies, liquidating the accounts of (5) companies, studying the accounts of branches of foreign companies for (267) companies and registering reservations. Verifying the names of their money seized for (393), checking the receipts (5377), and ratifying the decisions of the General Authority for Limited Companies and Persons (584).
Pointing out that his department ratified the minutes of the founding meetings of the limited companies, which numbered (181), in addition to ratifying (42) the minutes of the meetings of the general assembly of joint-stock companies, and archiving documents (574).
