A Czech trade delegation visits Iraq and the region to discuss investment opportunities

{Economic: Al Furat News} The new ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq, Peter Stepanek, informed the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, today, Thursday, the readiness of a commercial delegation from his country to visit Iraq.
A statement by the Kurdistan government, a copy of which was received by Al-Furat News Agency, stated that Barzani "congratulated the Prime Minister on the assumption of his job, wishing him success in his duties to strengthen the relations of the Czech Republic with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region."
The Czech ambassador referred to "the bonds of friendship that unite the Kurdistan Region and the Czech Republic, and expressed his country's readiness to consolidate the prospects for relations with the Kurdistan Region in all fields, and said that a Czech trade delegation is preparing to pay a visit to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in the future to discuss opportunities for trade exchange and investment."
The two sides also discussed the importance of continuing to support the Peshmerga to confront ISIS terrorists, as well as the Iraqi situation after the parliamentary elections, and the situation of migrants on the Belarusian-Polish border.
