Independent Member of Parliament Hamid Al-Shiblawy confirmed, on Thursday, that the representatives are not convinced of the answers of the Ministers of Agriculture, Muhammad Karim and Trade, Alaa Al-Jubouri, during their recent hosting of Parliament, while noting that the House requested to host the Ministers of Water Resources and Finance.
Al-Shiblawy said in an interview seen by "The Information", that "the deputies were not convinced by the answers of the Ministers of Agriculture and Trade after hosting them," noting that "the two ministers threw the ball into the court of the Ministries of Finance, Water Resources and National Security."
Al-Shiblawy added, "A request was submitted to the First Deputy to host the rest of the concerned ministers to find out the origin of the problems mentioned in the answers of the Ministers of Agriculture and Trade."
And regarding the presidential election session, Al-Shiblawy said, “The Speaker of Parliament opened the door for candidacy again, which generated legal disputes,” noting that “there is an opinion that the decision will be for the Federal Court, as it has the right to interpret the constitutional articles for electing the President of the Republic after the end of the legal period, and to fall into a vacuum.
